Textile Upcycling for ages 10 to 110 – make your own rope coil baskets from discarded textiles. 

The open workshop will be part of the OPEN HOUSE at the cultural hotspot Depot in Dortmund. It will be set amidst the f² festival of photography, so it’s gonna be a vibe! Just come over and take home your own little artwork.

As part of the Open Day at the Rudi-Eilhoff-Bildungswerk in Dortmund I’m presenting my workshop program for you to try out and create your very own upcycling products. I’ll also be bringing some of my own designs for you to shop if you are interested. There will be all kinds of interesting projects to see that day and I’m looking forward to seeing you there!

A sustainable summer festival by and for the neighborhood! 

After months of planning the Union Quarter in Dortmund is ready to present the new TrashUp! festival full of fun activities, interesting panels, tasty food, enticing art and much much more – everyone is sure to find something to their liking. 

And of course I’ll be there with some bicycle tube as well, to create some unique accessories with everyone who wants to join. We’ll be crafting while being able to take in the ambience and maybe even listen to some lovely tunes and/or interesting talks in the meantime.

The Biennial of Urban Landscape offers a space for collaborative activism for more susatainable communities, a factory of ideas connected with people who could just make them happen. Two weeks full of activities for young and old that you don’t want to miss.

Join us in creating beautiful packages from old magazines, normal paper packaging you throw away at home and even loo rolls. With different techniques, these household materials transform into fancy and personalized gift boxes. And it’s super environmentally friendly!

For three weeks the Sparkasse bank in Gelsenkirchen Schalke is exhibiting upcycling artworks that local kindergarten kids created with my help. The vernissage is on the February 27th at 10:00. The exhibition is accessible during the regular opening times.
