from ashes diamonds are made

Entirely made from secondhand clothing and leftover fabrics, this collection marks the beginning of a new focus for Woodcabin. The huge problem of textile waste is well known by now and many of the pieces that end up in landfill are still perfectly good to wear. So I’m doing my small part in giving some of these pieces a new life. Finding beauty in broken things, showing how precious they still are. Turning ashes into diamonds, filling the cracks with gold.

Why be broken when you can be gold?

A bridge of silver wings stretches from the dead ashes of an unforgiving nightmare
to the jeweled vision of a life started anew.
